The Noosa Trampers undertake monthly bush-walking excursions within the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland, from February 2018 to December 2018. There are two groups under the name of Trampers.
The Trampers Saturday Short Walkers whose walks are designed to offer an easier option. They are generally between 5 to 10kms long, and, where possible, are on even ground. They take place on the Saturday following the Sunday Trampers outing.
The guidelines for Noosa Trampers are here – Tramper’s Guidelines
A more detailed walk description, venue, times etc. is circulated by email the Sunday evening prior to the next week’s walk (Saturday evening for the Trampers Saturday Short Walkers).
All Noosa Parks Association members and visitors are welcome to join these walks, which are an excellent opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural environment of the Sunshine Coast and learn more about the work and aspirations of Noosa Parks Association. After two walks as a visitor, it is expected that you would become a member of Noosa Parks Association.
Compared to other bush-walking groups in the area, we are competitive in cost, our membership protocols are far less demanding, and other diverse NPA activities are also available. If you are new to the group and wish to be notified of individual walks please provide the Co-ordinators with your contact details.
Information Packs, giving details of our group, its Guidelines, Walk Schedules and NPA Membership Application, are available in the NPA Environment Hut, (Wallace Park), or via email from the Trampers Co-ordinators. Each walk is led by an NPA member familiar with the National Parks, Nature Refuges, and Forest Reserves of the greater Noosa – Cooloola Region, and elsewhere on the Sunshine Coast.
