Cooroy Hinterland Adventure Playground, Paul Brennan, Noosa Council
18 September @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$5
The Hinterland Adventure Playground, to be located next to the Cooroy Library, is a Noosa Council project co-funded by the State Government and is currently in final planning for construction in 2021. This new community facility will be a nature-based, all-abilities playground that encourages engagement with the environment, inspires the imagination of children and adults alike, and provides a signature destination for both local residents and tourists visiting the Noosa hinterland. There will be climbing structures, replicated creek water play, open green space, picnic shelters with BBQs, seating, and public toilet amenities.
Guest speaker Paul Brennan from Noosa Council will explain that the design of this interactive space integrates the natural features of Cooroy Creek into the site, forming a link between the Library and the Old Mill Heritage Precinct.
Come along to the forum or request a video link to hear about this project. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
