Noosa Environmental Education Hub, Di Seels + others
2 October @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm$5
The Noosa Environmental Education Hub engenders the next generation of environmental custodians by teaching our local students about the ecosystems that make up our Noosa Biosphere.
CoDirectors Annika Patrick, Di Seels and Dalia Mikhail work in partnership with local environmental groups to deliver meaningful curriculum extension programs that provide hands on learning, in support of our environment. All programs are linked to the Australian Curriculum ensuring essential curriculum is delivered in more meaningful and engaging ways for students and teachers alike.
As part of this commitment, the Noosa EEhub has also developed the Noosa Youth Advocacy Group as a means of providing an opportunity for young peoples voices to be heard on the issues that mean most to them. Learn more about the exciting environment programs the group has delivered in the past 6 months since inception and hear from an empowered student of the recent Noosa Bushfires in the Biosphere Unit.
Come along to the forum to learn more about this exciting initiative.
