Greening Noosa is the weeding and planting arm of Noosa Parks Association.

The group is involved in the removal of environmental weeds and some bush regeneration along the Noosa National Park coastal walk, and the Noosa Parks Association Park on Noosa Spit.
We weed in the National Park (from the main car park) every third Wednesday of the month (February to November), and at the Spit three times a year on a Monday. Starting time is 8:00 am, finishing with morning tea at 10:00 am.
A section of Noosa Woods and the Spit, known as Noosa Parks Association Park, has been adopted by NPA, extending the vegetation of Noosa Woods by planting local native plants and eradicating weeds. NPA is committed to extending the littoral rainforest character of Noosa Woods well out onto Noosa Spit.
This group also has strong links to Noosa Bush Care, which meets every Thursday morning at various sites around Noosa Heads and Sunshine Beach.
Everyone is welcome to come and have a go at helping to beautify our wonderful natural environment. No experience necessary and you may be surprised to find out how addictive it can be!
