‘Wild about Noosa’ Tony Wellington

At Noosa Park Association’s Friday Environment Forum on March 26, author, photographer and former Noosa Mayor Tony Wellington will be talking about his new photographic book detailing local wildlife titled ‘Wild About Noosa’. 

He will explain how he went about capturing the images and why he is in thrall with non-human critters. He will also explain how he went about choosing photos for the publication and, importantly, which images he decided to exclude. Tony’s adventures in our local bush have led to some curious discoveries, including bank notes!

But it is Tony’s boundless enthusiasm for our natural environment that will be in evidence on March 26. Come and join us for a thrilling trip through Noosa’s fauna.

The forum will be at the Environment Centre for limited numbers owing to COVID restrictions. To come to the Environment Center, it is essential to pre-register. Entry is $5 by ‘tap & go’ at the door.
